Did you know that the environment of a building contributes to our success?
In a Feng Shui assessment, we must use the Compass School and the Form School. These schools are interdependent, as GM Raymond Lo says: "The relationship between them is similar to the relationship between hardware and software, so they cannot be separated."
In the following I will tell you something about the School of Form, which refers to everything we can see with the naked eye, it includes two categories of elements to which we must pay close attention:
- The forms in the environment - are represented by the natural forms of relief, such as mountains, hills, waters, etc.
- Environmental configurations - refers to man-made interior or exterior elements (from furniture or colors and objects in a room, to buildings or highways in the vicinity of the home / work space)
In the calculations of Traditional Feng Shui, even details such as the shape of a table, a carpet, or the fact that we live in a mountain or hill area are analyzed, because these elements can significantly influence our well-being.
Where is it best to place a building so that it is beneficial from a Feng Shui point of view?
Ideally, a building should have a higher relief shape behind it than that building or another construction taller than it. On the sides of the building it is also favorable to have other forms of relief or other buildings, this time not necessarily taller, and in front of the building to have "water" as we call it in Feng Shui, which can even be a lake, a river or a plain, an open space.
Countries with good Feng Shui for tourism!
If we were to extrapolate what was discussed above at the country level, do you think it is a coincidence that countries like Greece, Bulgaria or Italy are successful in tourism? They have many buildings located at the base of the mountains, the protection we are talking about in Feng Shui, but also with access to the sea - water being associated in Feng Shui with prosperity. The landscapes are beautiful, and the positioning of the relief forms is ideal to bring prosperity and well-being to these areas.
If we look at the map of Romania, our mountains "embrace" the center, the north and northwest, more prosperous areas than others. Our coast would have been much more sustained if it also had some mountains or hills.
